About the Project

Following the Victorian bushfires in 2009 the Australian Government funded ACATLGN to work with other stakeholds and provide support and training for schools affected by the Victorian bushfires in 2009. The aim of this initiative was to promote the mental health and wellbeing, along with the psychosocial and learning outcomes of children and youth in the context of school settings. ACATLGN worked with the Victorian Government, Principals Australia and other stakeholders to deliver programs and resources to affected schools and the principles, teachers and support staff.
